An 11th-century silver late early-medieval penny of Harthacnut (1035-1042 AD), possibly minted in the name of Cnut, ' Arm and Sceptre' type, struck by the moneyer Leofing (probably) at the London mint (1040-1042 AD; North 799; cf. EMC number 1021.1062). This coin survives very well.
