An incomplete silver Groat of Mary (AD 1553-1554). Long cross over squared shield reverse. Pomegranate initial mark. London mint. Diameter: 22.03mm, Thickness: 0.59mm, Weight: 1.6g The coin is missing minor portions of its outer flan, both faces are heavily abraded with repeated incised grooves, with the obverse being entirely obscured.
