A worn and bent Medieval silver groat of Henry VII (1485-1509 AD). The initial mark cannot be determined due to wear, but it is a facing bust issue Class 3c and was minted at the Tower mint in London between 1490 and 1507 AD. The coin is North; English Hammered Coinage (1975); p83; No.1705.

A Post Medieval silver groat of Henry VII (1485-1509 AD). The groat is a profile issue minted in London, with a pheon initial mark. According to North, English hammered Coinage Vol II (1991) p99, this dates it to between 1507-1509 AD; No.1747.
