A Post Medieval silver coin; a three-farthings of Elizabeth I (AD 1558 - 1603), second issue (AD 1561 - 1582), acorn initial mark (AD 1573). The date above the shield is illegible. Part of the edge of the coin is missing. Compare North Voume 2 (1991),number 2002 on page 135. The coin is 13.7mm diameter, 0.3mm thick and 0.26g.
