A complete copper alloy Roman radiate of Postumus (AD 260 - AD 269), Uncertain reverse type, depicting a possible seated figure left, dating to the period AD 260 - AD 269 (Reece Period: 13). Mint of probably Trier. Diameter: 18.8 mm Thickness: 1.3 mm Weight: 1.8 g A small oval area of iron corrosion is present in the centre of the reverse of the coin. The coin is heavily worn on the reverse and some of the detail has been lost.

A silver plated copper-alloy Roman coin, possibly a contemporary copy of a silver radiate of Valerian II (AD 256-8) (Reece Period 12), IOVI CRESCENTI, Jupiter riding right on goat. Prototype struck at Mint in Gaul. Cunetio p. 105, cf. no. 738 for possible type. This is a tentative identification. Obverse legend is illegible. Obverse shows an unclear bust right. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Weight is 1.4g, diameter is 19.8mm, thickness is 0.9mm. Only a very small fragment of silver plate remains on the reverse surface, this measures c. 1.9mm x 3.1mm.
