Complete Edward I silver penny, Durham mint. The obverse features the forward facing crowned bust of Edward I within inner beaded circle. Legend around, reading EDW [R’ ANGL] DNS HYB. The reverse features long cross pattée with three pellets in each quarter, legend around reading CIVI T[AS] DVR EME. Overall the coin is very worn. Durham mint with cross moline, denoting Bishop Anthony Bec (1283-1311).
