An extremely worn and pierced Medieval silver long cross penny, probably of Edward IV, dating to his second reign, AD 1471-1483. Mint of Durham, Local Dies. D in centre of reverse cross. Insufficient detail remains to identify this coin further. The coin has been pierced at the 5 o'clock position directly inside of the obverse legend. Cf.
