An inomplete and worn penny of Henry VII (r.1485-1509), minted between 1494-99 at Durham under bishop Richard Fox. No mintmarks, RD by shield. Coin is quite worn and missing much of the outer flan including the legend.
Obverse: King Enthroned holding orb and sceptre. Legend: '[HENRICVS DI GRA REX]'. Reverse: Shield of arms, R D either side in the field. Legend: 'CIVITAS [DVRHAM]'.
Measurements: 14.18mm in diameter, 0.95mm thick and 0.4g in weight
