Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forward.
Obverse inscription: [E]DWAR A[NG]L DNS hYB.
Reverse description: Long cross with three pellets in each quadrant.
Reverse inscription: CIVI/[TAS]/DVR/EME.
Diameter: 18.55mm. Thickness: 0.89mm. Die axis: 1.

A Medieval silver penny of Edward II (AD 1307-1327). Class 13, dating from c. AD 1315-1317. Mint of Durham, struck under Bishop Kellawe. North (1994) Vol 2, p. 37, no. 1064. The coin has been slightly bent towards the obverse face at 10 o'clock.
The coin is 17.99mm in diameter, 0.75mm thick and weighs 1.2g.
