Roman silver siliqua, House of Valentinian, 364-78, probably a contemporary copy. (The origin record leaves much uncertainty. The inaccurate inscriptions recorded may suggest a contemporary copy OR inaccurate recording. Suggested readings inserted - Finds Adviser, 06/10/2004) Without an image it is not possible to know if the coin is clipped.

Roman Copper alloy 'Constantinopolis' coin, 12mm in diameter. The obverse shows a helmeted figure facing left with inscription --- --olis. The reverse shows a winged Victory with shield and spear and foot on the prow of a boat. No inscription survives and only part of the mint mark can be seen, possibly shows AQ for Aquileia or RP for first of Treveri missing the T ? The coin would have been minted after 330 to celebrate the founding of the city as Capital.
