A complete Post-Medieval silver penny of Henry VII (AD1485-1509) or Henry VIII (AD 1509-1547). The coin is very worn, resulting in the obverse being unreadable. The reverse has the remains of a long cross fourchee over a royal shield. In the left top quarter are the only visible letters in the legend: OR. This most likely represents Canterbury mint (CIVI/TAS/CAN/TOR).
