An damaged and incomplete early medieval silver penny of Plegmund, Archbishop of Canterbury (890-923), two-line type (Class II; North 256) minted by Wilric at Canterbury, c.910-23.
The coin is damaged on both left and right sides, obscuring part of the obverse inscription. There is also a crack in the flan along the line of part of the inner circle of the coin.
