A Medieval silver penny of Henry VI (AD 1422-1461). Long cross annulet issue (North 1432) dating to AD 1422-27 Minted in Calais. Obverse bears an annulet on either side of the neck. Reverse bears single annulets between two sets of triple pellets. North (1991: 74). A section of the circumference has been broken or cut away at 7-8 o'clock on the obverse.
Overall dimensions are as follows: 16mm in diameter and 0.57g in weight.

The obverse has a facing bust with annulets by the neck, cross pattee initial mark and the legend: HENRIC [---]. The reverse has a long cross with three pellets and two annulets in the angles and the legend: [VILLA] CALIS.
