A heavily clipped Medieval silver halfpenny, possibly of Henry VI (r. AD 1422 to AD 1471). The obverse contains a forward facing bifoliate crowned bust with upturned curled hair. Mint starts with a V and ends in SIE - possibly meaning Calais.
A shape is in the centre of the reverse long cross. Possibly a rosette, but cannot be certain.
