Silver halfgroat of Henry VI annulet issue minted at Calais and dating to 1422-3. Obverse has the bust of the king facing with the legend hEnRIC DI GRA REX AnGL Z Fn. Reverse has a long cross fourchée with 3 pellets in each quarter (two of the quarters also have an annulet linking the pellets). The long cross divides the legeds which read VIL/LA/CAL/IS and POSVI/DEVm/ADIVT/OREm. The coin is slightly damaged. Diameter: 20.7mm; weight: 1.7g
