A Roman silver coin: a serrated denarius of the Republic (211 BC - AD 27), minted by A. Postumius Albinus in c. 79 BC at an auxiliary Italian mint. The coin has a diameter of 19.6mm and is 1.6mm thick. It weighs 3.12 and is considerably worn. On the obverse is the veiled bust of Hispania. The reverse depicts a man in a toga who is raising his right hand over a standard (not visible on this example.
