A late 15th century medieval French jetton, struck at Tournai. Obverse; tower of Tournai with two fleur-de-lys above, set within a six arched tressure with small trefoils on the cusps, SIT IIOIIIEII BOIII I II I. Reverse: Cross patty with flower in each quarter, SIT IIOIIIEII DOIII I II I. Both legends can be translated as "sit nomen domini (benedictum)" or "be the name of the Lord blessed"). As Mitchiner (1988) number 735-736.

A copper alloy late Tournai Medieval jetton dating from around AD 1415-1521.  Obverse: shield of France (modern), AVE MANIA' CENVM legend, probably a blundered attempt at AVE MARIA GRACIA PLENA. Reverse: Straight cross with arcuate outer lines ending in fleurs (fleuretty), withing a quatrefoil with fleurs in the outer angles. The Jetton has been pierced at the bottom of the shield.  Dimensions; Diameter 27.1mm, Thickness 0.5mm and Weight 2.0g.
