An incomplete copper-alloy Medieval French jetton. ‘Crown’ type' probably struck in Tournai and dating to the period c. AD 1415-1497. The jetton has been pierced by a circular hole that has widened to the outer flan as seen at c. 9 o'clock on the obverse.
Obverse: royal crown, across body possibly annulet either side of a rosette within illegible legend (probably AVE MARIA [GRAC]IA).
Reverse: a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in 4-arched tressure, external angles, possibly [A-] V – [E]- M.

A struck or hammered copper-alloy French jetton of Medieval date, dating to c. AD 1497-1547 of the ‘Chatel Tournois’ type, probably of Louis XII (AD 1497-1515) and the early years of Francis I (AD 1515-1547). The legends are both nonsense. Similar to Mitchiner (p. 241-242, nos. 737-746.
Obverse: traditional Chatel Tournois (Castle of Tours) design with lis in centre at top.
Reverse: simple cross pattee with four lis in each corner.
The jetton is 26.78mm in diameter, 1.62mm thick and weighs 5.60 grams.

A struck copper-alloy Medieval French jetton dating from AD 1364-1380.
The obverse has the shield of France with four fleur de lis within a square topped shield surrounded by the inscription +AVE MARIA GRACIA PIE. The reverse shows a double stranded arcuate cross fleuretty, with lis at centre, small stars in each angle. +AVE MARIA GRACIA. 12 o'clock Die axis is uncertain. Probably minted in Tournai. Pierced.

A worn and incomplete copper-alloy Jetton, probably originating from Tournai and dating to the 15th century. The obverse of the jetton is extremely worn and none of the details or legends can be extrapolated. The reverse is also extremely worn, although a voided long-cross with a fleur de lys in each quarter can be discerned, in addition to part of the legend. The jetton has been perforated slightly off centre, possibly for suspension or stringing along with other examples. The object is 22.05mm in diameter and weighs 1.5 grammes, demonstrating a patchy greenish brown patina.

A complete copper-alloy Jetton of late Medieval or early Post Medieval date, dating c. 1497-1521. The obverse of the jetton depicts a shield with two Tournai roses in chief and two fleur de lys in base, below which is a trefoil. This shield is bordered by a solid circle, between which at the top is another trefoil motif located directly above the shield.
