A complete, medieval, silver, Irish penny of King John. AD. 1207 - 1211. Dublin mint, Roberd moneyer. The obverse side has a crowned bust in a triangle, with a hand holding a sceptre. The obverse legend is as follows: IOHAN/NES/ REX. On the reverse there are three stars in each corner of a triangle, which contains a sun and moon in the middle. The reverse legend reads ROBE/RD ON/ DIVE.
