The coin is bent, with around 1/3 being bent over, going from 7 o’clock to 12 o’clock. Obverse description: Crowned bust facing forward in a triangle. Obverse inscription: [ED]W[R] [A]NGL [DNS] [H]Y[B]. Reverse description: Long cross with pellets in each quadrant. Reverse inscription: CI[VI]/TAS/DUBL/INIE. Diameter: 19.67mm. Thickness: 0.90mm. This coin dates from AD 1251, when dies were sent from London to Dublin, through to AD 1254 when the mint was closed.
