A medieval silver halfgroat of James III of Scotland (AD 1460-88).Third issue long cross dating to AD 1475. Minted in Berwick. Part of the edge of the coin has broken away. Spink no. 5278 (2003: 39). Overall dimensions are as follows: 17.75mm in diameter, 0.89mm in thickness and 1.15g in weight.
