The mint and moneyer attributions are uncertain, the reverse appears to read [ ](N)OÐ ON S(E/F)[ ]. The most likey attribution for this is Alnoth of Shaftesbury.

A silver Medieval penny of Henry I (1100-35), of North's 'full face/ cross fleury' type (N 866, BMC x) and dating to 1117. Minted by Saric at Shaftesbury.
The coin has a small snick in the edge (at 3 o'clock on the obverse) and the reverse is slightly off-struck. It is bent convexly between 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock on the obverse.
