Early modern 'duit' of the Dutch province of Zeeland, dating from the 18th century. The duit is inscribed ZELAN/DIA on the obverse and has 'LUCTOR ET EMERGO' on the reverse, surrounding the arms of Zeeland. The Latin motto of the province of Zeeland, "Luctor et Emergo" translates to "I struggle and emerge" (victorious, presumably!).

Incomplete 17th century silver double stuiver of the Province of Zeeland of the United Provinces of the Netherlands. The coin has been cut and about one quarter remains. The remaining piece is 15.05mm x 13.21mm by 0.5mm thick and weighs 0.60gms. This obverse design was in use by 1615 and still in use in the 1640's. Although the contemporary copper alloy duits of Zeelandia are found fairly commonly in Britain stuivers are rarer finds although they circulated widely as trade coins.

An extremely worn and corroded copper alloy coin which is almost illegible but which may be a Dutch coin of the 16th or 17th century. The coin appears to be similar to a Duit or half Duit of Zeeland and may show a maiden sitting in a fence on the reverse. None of the details are visible. Compare SWYOR-6DCD16 which is slightly better preserved. It is also possible that this object is a jetton, but it is too worn to identify. The coin or jetton has been pierced with an oval hole.
