A Post-Medieval copper coin of the Netherlands; a half Duit of Zeeland, probably dating from 1686. See number KM 55 on page 1120 of the Krause Standard Catalogue of World Coins, 17th century. The coin reads ZEE / LAN / DIA / [1]6(86) on the obverse, and shows a maiden sitting in a fence on the reverse, with the escutcheon of Zeeland, a rampant demi lion above water.
