A complete but heavily worn, struck / hammered copper alloy one Duit of the Hollandia province, Dutch Republic, of uncertain mint and date of minting but probably struck between AD 1702 and AD 1780. The obverse depicts a Lion Rampart within a fence. The reverse reads HOL / LAN / DIA, split between three lines. The date of issue is normally present at the end of the inscription, but it can not be determined on this example. It was struck with a die axis of 12 o'clock. An incomplete post-medieval silver coin, stuiver, of Hollandia in the Netherlands. Less than half of this coin survives. Obverse is inscribed across the centre of the coin in three lines with missing date below: HOL/LAN/[DIA/.....] surmounted by a five petalled flower with a single pellet to either side, within a beaded border. A copper alloy Post Medieval doit (or Duit) c. 1729 - 1792 AD. The obverse has the Coat of Arms of Zeeland, Netherlands a Dutch lion in sea on shield with crown. The reverse has the monogram VOC (Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie) for the Dutch East India Company but no discernible date. The coin is pierced near the rim, heavily worn, with and eroded dark green patina. It is 21.13mm in diameter, 1.1mm thick and weighs 3.0gm.
