A Medieval silver voided long-cross penny of Henry III (AD 1216-1272). The obverse shows a crowned head facing with a large central beard pellet at chin. There are two large hair curls with pellets visible on the left hand side. The obverse legend reads hENRICVSREX.III. There is a pellet stop after the X in REX. The N and R are ligated.
