A medieval silver Irish penny of Richard III (1483-85), 'Suns and Roses/Rose-on-Cross' coinage (Spink S6408), dating to 1483, mint: Drogheda. Ref: Spink 2003: 138; Mac Conamhna 2017: 120-22; fig 13 no 26 (this coin).  This coin is one of only three of its type, all struck from the same dies.
