A Medieval silver coin; a contemporary continental imitation of an Edwardian Penny dating from the late 13th or 14th century. See Meyhew number 377. This coin has also been recorded on the UKDFD database as number 28324. The record there notes that: "[The coin was] possibly struck at the Yves mint of Gaucher de Chatillon.
