A silver medieval Scottish penny of David II (1329-71) first coinage second issue, small letter issue, sixth bust (Spink S5088) dating to c.1351-57/8. Mint: uncertain. Six pointed mullet in each quarter on the reverse. Ref: Spink 2015, pg 24.

A silver Scottish penny possibly of David II struck after 1333 - 1357 AD. The coin is fragmentary and based on the reverse legend with a double TT in REX SCOTTORVM . The profile of the bust seems to be better suited to Alexander III' second coinage 1280-1286
