A medieval silver coin: a Venetian soldino of Doge Agostino Barbarigo, dating from AD 1486 - 1501. The coin has been mutilated, possibly for use as a pilgrim token, by folding the sides inwards in three places to make a triangular package, leaving the obverse of the coin visible. It is uncertain whether there is anything more than soil containined within the folded coin. Measurements are; length 11.2mm, width 9.5mm, thickness 3.3mm and weight 0.36g.
