The reverse has a flat-topped shield of arms over moline, legend around, mintmark above. The coin is worn and clipping to the rim. SP - 2817 group F.

A hammered silver shilling of Charles I, Tower mint under parliament c.1642 - 1649 AD. Probably from group F, the obverse has a portrait left, now rubbed out leaving at race of the crown and the value mark of XII. The reverse has the square top shield with a long cross fourchee. As with many Charles coins, the portrait is rubbed away and the rim is fritted and clipped.

A post-medieval silver plated copper alloy contemporary copy halfcrown of Charles I (1625-1649). Group III (North 2213). London (Tower) mint (AD 1644-1645). The coin is somewhat corroded on the obvserse and severely corroded on the reverse. It has been perforated which could have been to take it out of circulation, or may reflect possible reuse as a pendant.
