The reverse shows the URBS ROMA issue, the she-wolf standing left, suckling Romulus and Remus, two 8-point stars above representing Castor and Pollux, the twins. In exegue are the letters PLG, denoting the mint of Lugdunum (Lyons). The coin is slightly oval in shape but is worn and chipped. It measures 15.26mm by 14.19mm, is 1.86mm thick and weighs 1.5g.
