A copper-alloy As of Nero; SPQR S C (Victory flying left) reverse type; probably minted at Lyon, AD c. 66. The coin is worn and corroded. The surface appears to have traces of a black coating, possibly a corroded white metal. The coin measures 28.8mm in diameter, 3.2mm thick and weighs 10.1g.

An incomplete copper-alloy nummus of Magnentius, 350-353. Mint is Lyon, 352-353, Reece period 18. Obverse shows a draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse legend reads (D N MAGNEN - TIVS P F AVG). Reverse shows a large Chi-Rho between alpha and omega. Reverse legend reads [SALVS D] D NN AVG ET CAES. Reverse mint mark is S*//(P/R)PLG. This is a find of note. Condition is worn, die axis is 6 o'clock, weight 3.27g, diameter 20mm. Reference: RIC VIII, p.189, no.170/172.
