A Roman copper-alloy coin; a contemporary copy of a nummus of the House of Constantine (AD 307-361) dating to the period AD 330 to 340 (Reece period 17). VRBS ROMA reverse type depicting Romulus and Remus suckling from a she wolf. Probably prototype was mint of Lyon. Compare LRBC number 184 on page 7.
The coin has a lump of corrosion on the reverse. It measures 12.6mm diameter, 1.4mm thick and 1.03g.
