A copper alloy probable copy of a nummus of the House of Constantine, possibly Crispus, dating to AD318 - AD324 (Reece Period 16). Reverse reads [BEATA TRANQVILL]ITA[S]. Reverse probably shows altar inscribed with [VOT/IS/XX] surmounted by globe. Mint of Lyon.
Obverse legend is unclear. Obverse shows helmeted, cuirassed bust right with spear and shield. Reverse exergue reads PLG Die axis is 6 o'clock, diameter is 17.27mm, thickness is 1.92mm and weight is 2.5g.

The coin is coated with a black substance, probably a corroded silvering or tinning. It is slightly worn and corroded. It measures 18.5mm in diameter, 1.8mm thick and weighs 2.51g.
