Copper alloy coin. A round flan and hence possibly milled, of the size of a Georgian halfpenny but retaining no clear detail, encrusted. The state of this probably recent coin is similar to that of the degraded larger module Roman coins from the vicinity, a fact which may reflect a subsequent local agricultural regime and its deleterious effect upon field finds. Suggested date: probably Post-Medieval, 1700-1800 Diameter: 27.3mm, Weight: 7.41gms
