Silver halfcrown of George III, dated to 1817 The obverse bears the bust of the king laurate, small head right. Legend reads GEORGIUS III DEI GRATIA The reverse has the crowned garter and shield, surrounded by the motto of the Order of the Garter HONI SOIT QUE MAL Y PENSE. The legend around the edge of the coin reads REX FID DEI BRITANNIARUM The coin is degraded with the surface flaking off, particularly on the obverse. The reverse has brown staining which may have been acquired while in the ground Dimensions: 31mm diameter and 1.5mm thick, it weighs 7.6g

Copper alloy halfpence of King George III. Obverse laurate and cuirassed bust right, legend GEORGIVS III REX with stops between phrases. Reverse Britannia, date under probably AD 1774 inscribed BRITAIN NIA with stop. Die axis 6 o'clock. Little remains of the outer milled edge which is very worn. Thanks to the finder for identification Dimensions: 27.35mm diameter, 1.81mm thick and weighs 8.17g Finders reference 1913
