Contemporary copy of a post medieval farthing of Charles II dating to the period AD 1672 to 1679, Spink 3394.
Obverse: Laureate and cuirassed bust facing left. Legend: CA[ROLVS.A.C]AROLO
Reverse: Britannia sealed facing left, branch held upwards in right hand, left hand holding sceptre with her left elbow resting on a shield. Legend: [BRITAN]NIA
The coin appears to be in a lead alloy. The details are crude, especially the reverse of which the central image and lettering appear larger than the original coin and are not able to fully fit on the copy.
