A Medieval silver farthing from Edward II (AD 1284-1327), dating from AD1310-1314. Minted in London. Class 10. The Obverse shows the face of Edward II, the insrciption is unreable due to wear but would have been similar to [EDWARD REX ANGEL' DNS hYB] . The reverse shows a cross in the centre with each quadrant containing three pellets. The inscription is also worn and unreable. The coin is 12mm diameter, 0.31grams
