A heavily miss truck, worn and clipped medieval silver halfpenny of Edward III (r. 1327 - 1377) or Richard II (r.1377-1399). Minted at London. Description: This coin has been heavily miss truck but otherwise conforms with the norms of the long cross penny of the 14th century. The coin presents with both brockage and double striking errors. The brockage error is clear due to obverse and reverse mirror images of the opposite side is super imposed over the primary design, meaning a ghost of the long cross is visible over the bust and vice versa.
