A complete Early-Medieval (Anglo-Saxon) silver sceat (710-740) of Wodan Series H, Type 49, H804/H900 (Abramson 2006: 16 and 73; North 1994: 64, ref: 103, plate 1, no. 48). Mint of Hamwic (Southampton). Obverse: Moustached face centrally with a beaded outline, nine roundels with pellets between and cross pattée below face, all within a beaded border.
