A silver denarius of Carausius (AD c. 286-293) (Reece Period 14), ADVE[NTVS AVG], emperor riding left. Mintmark: -//RSR, commonly attributed to London, but to be studied further. RIC V, pt. 2, pp. 508-9, cf. nos. 535/536var. The coin has a heavy verdigris with crude lettering, which is not unusual for the RSR issue, but it might be a contemporary copy. Measures 18mm in diameter, 1.6mm thick and weighs 2.2g. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
