Silver denarius of Carausius (AD 286-93) (Reece Period 14), ORIENS AVG, Sol standing left, right hand raised, globe in left. Mintmark: (RSR); commonly attributed to London, but to be studied further. RIC V, pt 2, p. 512, no. 570. This coin is included in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC. The coin is pierced through the bust, but it does not seem intentional.
