A copper alloy nummus of Crispus (AD 317-26), dating to AD 323-4 (Reece Period 16), CAESARVM NOSTRORVM, VOT X in wreath. Mint of London. RIC VII, p. 115, no. 291. This coin appears to have the obverse legend IVL CRIS - VS NOB C, but there is a faint P, probably due to a clogged die, so the coin does read IVL CRISP - VS NOB C. There is apparently no crescent after PLON mintmark, but it might be faint and under corrosion. Diameter: 18.4mm; thickness: 1.3mm; weight: 2.7g.
