A silver denarius of Carausius dating to the period AD 286 to 293 (Reece period 14). (VIRT?) CARAVSI AVG reverse type depicting lion advancing left with thunderbolt in jaws. Mintmark: -//RSR; commonly attributed to London, but to be studied further. RIC V, pt 2 - The reverse of this coin has been double-struck. There is one other similar coin, with inscription VIRT CARAVSI AVG (hence suggesting this coin is VIRT rather than VIRTVS), in Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.

Roman copper alloy nummus of Constantine I, dating from AD 310 to 313 (Reece Period 15). Reverse type SOLI INVICTO COMITI, Sol, standing left, radiate, draped, holding globe. Cf. Roman Imperial Coinage VI Londinium. Probably minted in London, mint mark a little unclear T/F//?PLN.
The length is 20.5mm, width 18mm, and the weight 1.8g.

Reverse inscription [SOLI INVICTO COMITI]
The coin is damaged and incomplete.
