An incomplete silver hammered penny struck for Eadgar, (959-975). Reform coinage (973-975). North 752. B.M.C. vi. Minted by Mani of Leicester. Half of the legend ring is missing along with a bend and crack across the flan.
Obverse: Diademed bust left, EADG[AR REX AN]GLOX,
Reverse: Small cross pattee within inner wire circle, MA[NI LI]GAR.
