A silver penny of King Coenwulf of Mercia dating to the Early Medieval period (c. AD 796-821) struck by Seberht at Canterbury. The obverse depicts a legend reading COENVVLF REX arranged circumferentially around a central circle and an M (for Mercia) within it. The reverse depicts a voided Tribrach moline consisting of two lines that divides the name of the moneyer with triangular-shaped pellets in the sectors. An North 1994, no. 342.
