The sherd is a fragment of a wide necked vessel. The interior of the rim is shaped so that a lid can be seated. In profile the rim has a 'C' shape. The fabric is a mid-grey colour with many medium sized inclusions. These inclusions are of two different types, one is angular and pale in colour, whereas the others are a red/brown colour. The fabric is quite hard.

The sherd is a rim fragment of a wide necked vessel. The rim is obliquely angled forming a '>' shape in profile when it develops into the body. In the crease of the neck is a horizontal triangular cordon as decoration. On the interior of the rim, the other side of the cordon is a seat for a lid. The fabric is a mid grey colour with frequently medium sized inclusions. These inclusions are rounded and are geological.

The sherd appears to be a fragment of a curved handle. The surfaces are a red/orange colour with the core being a light grey colour. Within the fabric there are occasional voids, otherwise inclusions are not clear. The handle is a sub-oval shape in cross-section, with a shallow, wide, vertical groove. The groove is decorated with small oblique slashes. Either side of the groove is also decorated with small oblique slashes. There is a very small area which has glaze remaining on the exterior surface of the handle.

One base sherd of grey-ware. The fabric of the sherd is a grey colour, with a dark brown coloured core. The inclusions vary in size and are a hard stone-like material. Fragments of the body remains, suggesting the vessel is a type of jar. The lower portions of the body are decorated with linear burnishing around the vessel, four rings are visible. The base of the sherd shows clearly where the wire has been used to remove the vessel from the wheel.
