The sherd is a fragment of a rim. The rim appears to be a wide necked jar. The fabric is sandy with a red coloured core and dark grey surfaces. The neck is decorated with fine horizontal cordons.

The sherd is a fragment of the base and wall. The wall is angled outwards at c. 45°. The fabric is sandy, and has a pale peach coloured exterior with a light grey coloured core. The exterior has a patch of light green glaze remaining.

The sherd appears to be a fragment of a curved handle. The surfaces are a red/orange colour with the core being a light grey colour. Within the fabric there are occasional voids, otherwise inclusions are not clear. The handle is a sub-oval shape in cross-section, with a shallow, wide, vertical groove. The groove is decorated with small oblique slashes. Either side of the groove is also decorated with small oblique slashes. There is a very small area which has glaze remaining on the exterior surface of the handle.
