An incomplete lock escutcheon from a piece of furniture, of Post Medieval dating (AD 1700 to AD 1800). The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, but with a flat cross section. Iron corrosion products do obscure the surface. The lock escutcheon has a pelta shape above with a sunburst stamp on a it. The lock escutcheon is irregular in shape, with a semi-circular top with a squared lys terminal at the base. It measures 46.4 mm in length, 49. 8 mm wide and 10.3 mm thick. It weighs 31.9 g.

An iron fragment of an axe-shaped mount, dating to the Early Medieval period, circa AD 580-650.  The object consists of an axe-shaped fragment from a mount terminal. The obverse is decorated with an axe shaped border made from a copper-alloy strip. Within the border is a decorative pattern in light relief, consisting of style II, animal art. The pattern has been gilded. The reverse and sides of the object are undecorated and covered in orange corrosive material. No attachements are on the reverse.  The object measures 28.1mm in length and 43.5mm in width…

A small cast spherical iron canon ball with a diameter of 78 mm  weighing 1758 grams dating to c. AD 1550 – 1750. It is spehrical and a dark orange brown colour. It likely relates to the civil war. The size of the ball suggest that it is from a Falcon, Minion, or possible it might have been used in a larger calibre field piece, firing canister shot. A complete iron axehead of uncertain dating, possibly Medieval to Post medieval (c. AD 1000 - 1800). The axehead is broadly triangular in form with a curved cutting edge. The socket is broadly rectangular in form with rounded upper and lower projections. The perforation in the socket is triangular. The axehead has a straight flat butt end. The main body of the blade has a more tapered downward projection as opposed to the upper edge that is more angular as it tapers to the cutting blade.
